A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a Gold eight pointed star bearing a shield blazoned as follows: Celeste, between a polar bear rampant Proper and a Roman gate Or, a scarpe Gules fimbriated of the second.†The shield is superimposed by a Black bayonet point up and encircled by a Dark Blue annulet inscribed with "STRENGTH HONOR DISCIPLINE†around the top and on either side of the bayonet’s grip which surmounts the annulet are three stars all Gold.
