A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Per fess arched Buff and Sable, an arrowhead Gules fimbriated Or charged with a scroll Argent embellished of the last (Silver Gray) all superimposed by a quill silhouette bend sinisterwise of the second nib resting on the scroll. Attached below the shield is a horizontal Black scroll doubled and inscribed "THE WAY AHEAD” in Gold.
